I have just made my favourite food: rice & curry. I love other food as well. Eating is an enjoyable past time & a wonderful social event. I love to make rice & curry for other people. I have a photo of the last serving in an earlier blog. Tonight I made Gado Sambol, which is simple & tasty: dessicated coconut, chili, maldive fish and a splash of lime. Ummm! I roast it for extra flavour. Add it to any dish--East or West--and it's a wonderful accompaniment to a meal.
Next week I hope to set up my own practice, or at least I am taking to my financial/tax adviser on this matter. Not sure how feasible it is, actually. But better to plan & see what develops.
I am planning on returning to teaching & research. However, I need a longer break. Crazy as it may sound, I could not calm down after two years of intense work and thought I would go crazy over my three week holiday. Now I find I need a bit longer before jumping in again. Want take my time & recover. Fortunately, I can do that without problem.
Okay. How about you dear reader? How are you? What is your focus these days? Are you looking after yourself? Remember: What we think & focus on determines who we become & what we do. It's not a new age mantra. There are whole schools of psychology that focus on exactly this concept.
So, focus on the positive. If you believe you can do it, you can.
In Peace.
