Okay, so I missed posting by two days, but I like the symmetry of the date. Seems like a good time to post.
My silence? Busy with the new office! Having received my degree, MA in Counselling with Honours, I am trying to establish my own practice. I've set myself a goal of having this ready by mid-October. Ah-Oh. No way, José! (Who is he anyway?) Push the goal back to November. As I just paid my tax adviser a sum I have yet to earn, I'd better 'get on the stick' (Where does that saying come from?)
There have been set backs, not that it's an excuse. The practice room flooded in July. The silver lining was a just insurance pay-out. But, of course, there's the mess to clean up. After the mess, the re-decorating. I love the look which is almost complete. However, mess sprawls and now a second room and the entrance hallway are in need of fixing.
After paying the tax adviser's bill, I've decided, ready or not, my shingle goes up November, the latest. Needs must! Pro Bono? Always. But: The labourer is worthy of her hire!
